alh alternator question

i found out the alh alternator is similar to a one wire but i need to know on the 2 wire plug which wire is alternator exciter wire. this is going in my ford 2000 ranger swap with mtdi.

look at the diagrams... it's the wire that goes to the cluster

Yeah,it's the blue wire (D+)
