Power loss in first gear under moderate to hard acceleration. Help...

Ok, I was going to point out the vnt system, simply because I've noticed when you have underboost issues on these engines, whether it's due to the turbo being too big, faulty vnt, or the rod just not well adjust. It's much more noticeable on lower gears.

I have a hybrid turbo, with a bit of underboost and it's more noticeable on lower gears. Probably ECU doesn't have time to adjust the vnt since lower gears are more quick completing the rpm range.

and I spent $1400 for the turbo and new oil feed line.

I have that into my MIG welder, all 5 turbos that have been on the car, and all the iterations of piping and manifolds that have been on the car.

Yeah... I got the VNT17 Plus. I want this car to run right. I’m not even sure that the turbo was the problem, I am worried though that the problem caused the turbo failure. I want to get this thing worked out so that I can enjoy it. I am tired of having to replace parts. ��
