If you've been to TDIFest before, you'll be very familiar with the raffle. We will be having a raffle again this year, but it will be structured differently than previous years.

Raffle tickets will be earned this year rather than purchased. Here are some ways in which you can earn raffle tickets:

  • Registering for TDIFest. A small number of raffle tickets will be included in every goody bag as a thank you for attending this year's TDIFest.
  • Registering early for TDIFest. In addition to the raffle tickets in your goody bag, you will be awarded bonus tickets for registering in the month of July. If you registered in June, you will receive double bonus tickets.
  • Participating in trivia. We will be having Volkswagen and TDI/diesel trivia on Friday night after the meet & greet. Raffle tickets will be awarded for correct answers. More detailed trivia rules will be announced later and separately from this thread.
  • Photo scavenger hunt. A list of items to photograph will be provided prior to the start of TDIFest (Friday morning). The more items you get pictures of, the more raffle tickets you will be awarded. More details about the scavenger hunt will be announced later and separately from this thread.
  • Volunteering! Volunteers will be awarded raffle tickets as a thank you. You must indicate volunteer interest when you register. Once you've done that, you will be contacted with more details and specific assignments.
  • Other games or activities to be announced.

We hope that you will enjoy this fun and interactive raffle. The more you participate, the higher your chances of winning. :D

Even if you have already registered and didn't volunteer there, you still can! I will be posting a thread soon with a list of open volunteer positions and some details about volunteering in general. It takes all kinds of help to make Fest go, so there's sure to be something you'd be good at and enjoy doing. Even helping out for an hour or two can make a big difference, but don't worry about missing out on time with your friends, because volunteering can be a great way to meet more people (and it really is fun).

So think about how you may want to contribute to Fest this year and let us know in the thread soon!
