The detail analysis leads me to believe this information is accurate enough to answer any question one has concerning fuel economy. This is the first time I have been on the fuel economy forum and one thread and Max's posting I have all my questions answered that I have ever wondered about. Thanks, now back to other (non solvable) issues concerning oiling and cam shafts.

I have a 37 mile commute to work each way and run around 70-75 for the majority of the commute and I am averaging between 49-52 mpg over the course of 30,000 miles logged so far.

I've recently been driving a mountaous commute, that includes city, suburban and highwqy mileage along wih a shot of 39 miles on an interstate, and I get a solid 48-49 mpg at well over 75 -80 on I-81.
