I bought this car roughly almost 2 months ago.
Came with a ton of service records.
Very well maintained.
Has 144k miles.
Transmission shifts flawlessly.
Everything works properly.
17" TSW rims with tires last year.
Full set of studded tires also .
New turbo
New N75
New alternator
New battery
here's the catch: it keeps blowing a P0299 that I can't seem to make go away. Also about due for a BSM delete kit. I've bought the car with a high price tag and sadly cannot put more money into it.
I replaced all vaccum lines. Put in a new N75. Replaced fuel filter air filter. Smoke tested it. Intake was cleaned out. Checked all Intercooler and turbo lines. Cannot seem to diagnose this car.
Must sell before the Mrs tosses me. She's fed up and so am I.
Asking $5500 or best offer. Comes with ALL service records.
Will trade for Chevy Colorado crew cab 4X4
Serious inquires please call or text 413-495-2607
Clean Connecticut title.

For one year. Installed in 2012 and removed in 2013. Previous owner was running it when he was living in Maine. When he moved down here there aren't too many suppliers and had it removed.

I bet Oilhammer could figure it out for you(via PM or on the boards)- good luck on the sale.

Run VCDS and adjust the actuator, that will fix your boost issue.

I read through your topic on it and you never stated that a "tech" replaced the turbo. If you look at that receipt I'm surprised they even figured out it had a turbo. Funny as about 10mins of googling would have saved the previous owner a TON of money.

Anyway, run VCDS boost graph, adjust the actuator and you should be set. If not run the MAF sensor test and see how that does. My bet is on the tech not having a clue when replacing the turbo.

Haha I'm sure he can, I've read a lot of his shared knowledge.
I took the car to mike McCann (94X). He found a bad turbo hose clamp and the check valve for the vaccum system installed backwards.

Still looking to sell.

I don't have VCDS, closest guy I know is mike McCann who's an hour north of me.

Previous owner put serious money into car

VCDS is only $99 bucks and the cheap VAG-COM is about $15 off amazon.

Anyway, just thought it would be worth noting that a little adjustment to that turbo actuator should solve it. That shop reads like they tossed the turbo in without touching the actuator, which as you can tell, doesn't work!
