Alh intake on bew engine? Upgrade or downgrade??

Hey guys I'm currently doing a bew swap into my mk1 rabbit pickup. Stage 2 malone tune with everything deleted and a standalone wiring harness. I'm wondering if throwing an alh intake on this will be better or worse for the engine? Stock turbo (for now) and a 2.5in fmic with a 2.5 turboback exhaust with just a resonator. Found a cheap alh intake and am wondering at the airflow being better than bew. Also i have a better alh race pipe that I bought by mistake from s&p automotive than the one I got for the bew engine.
