So, do I understand correctly that if I swap (from nearly identical GLS ALH 01m wagons) all of the TCM, ECU, BCM, and instrument cluster, there will not be a immobilizer issue?

they are both '03 wagons, although the donor has a '02 build date. donor had the steering wheel controls, recipient has the sunroof are the only differences.

dweisel isn't diesel anymore!
ECU, cluster and the upper part key fob with rfid chip from the donor car. Or get an immo delete on the ECU. Use the lower part of the key fob to operate the door locks. Swap out the actual key onto the upper part of the fob. That will give you a good key for ignition , door and hatch locks.
