Flashing glow plug lamp with codes

hello everybody,
today the glow plug light start flashing so I decided to stop the car, wait a minute a start all over, no more flashing but
then I connected the vag-com just to make sure and got two codes

17978 - engine start blocked by immobilizer p1570 - 35 - 00 - -

17070 - quantity adjuster (n146): upper limit reached p1562 - 35 - 00 - -

after doing some reading on the site I concluded that it could be from the break switch that for a huge coincidence, last week got the recall on the mail...

can anyone tell me what theses codes mean exactly?

Those aren't the codes for the brake lights. The flashing light was probaly from upper limit code. It's a code saying the quantity of fuel the pump is delivering is at the upper limit of the pump. Double check your IQ numbers to make sure they're in range. some people with tuming boxes get this code often. I wouldn't worry about it.

In fact the car is running fine, I connected again the vag-com and no codes at all.
