103 miles to end of basic warranty on my '09. Just ran an autoscan w/ VCDS. First time I've seen a fault doing this. I'm not willing to go into the dealer just for a fault but no actual trouble, unless the wise heads here tell me this is trouble coming and needs to be reported before warranty expires. Here's what VCDS says (in 09 - Central Electric):

1 Fault Found:
01333 - Door Control Module; Rear Left (J388)
004 - No Signal/Communication - Intermittent
Freeze Frame:
Fault Status: 00100100
Fault Priority: 2
Fault Frequency: 1
Reset counter: 138
Mileage: 57495 km
Time indication: 0
Date: 2005.09.13
Time: 31:63:63

p.s.: Yes, that's right, my ECU thinks its 2005.

Get it documented with the dealer, in case something happens. Who knows, the dealer may repair it.

If it was me I would get it to the dealer and have them scan it. I had an intermittent seat belt message. They installed a new seatbelt under waranty. If you do not get it looked at right away there is a good chance if there is a real problem that your wallet will suffer.

From the KM stamp on the fault, it looks as if the fault was logged recently.. 35,725 miles.

Battery drain or anything else electrical happen around that time?
