TDI into S10 Truck

I would like to install a TDI into an S-10 pickup. What am I look at? My main concern is the swapping the engine to inline. How would I handle the transmission or is there another transmission that will bolt up to the TDI? I know I'd need the wiring harness and computer/dash, but I think I can handle that.

Anyone out there already do this?

If you read through some of the Toyota/TDI swaps, im guessing you will get some answers. The most simple solution would be mating the TDI to a Toyota transmission as there are already adapter kits available. As for wiring, it depends which engine you swap in. If it is of the 1Z/AHU era, there is no immobilizer or cluster to deal with. These things can be overcome with chip tuning if you do decide to go with a ALH engine.
