iRev for iPhone/iPod Touch Review (video)

I have this setup as well for over 8-9 months now. Best part is not having a separate CEL reader, as it comes built into the software. Just actually bought an in-car iPhone holder, since it's pain to hold it while shifting lol! The REV software metrics is VERY accurate. As far as pricing goes (this has been mentioned above), the software is $40 USD through iPhone's app store and the wire OBDII-to-WiFi was $140 USD from PLX devices Inc. I tell ya, this totally beats the average OBDII scanner that only shows the CEL/MIL codes + description, which will also cost you $200+ USD. Monitoring the engine coolant temperature has never been better!

I'd really like to find any third party non vag-com product that will tell me my passat B5.5 TDI's EGT temperature from the stock sensor.

I will buy the first product that does that.

Anyone try the new dashcommand that works with the kiwi wifi?

Any more updates for this? I have been thinking of getting the KIWI Wifi 2 with the ability to add on other sensors. This one actually. The thermocouple looks to be too short though. Anyone try this yet?

sadly devtoaster hasn't updating there software in a while. I've asked them to fix some of the issues with regards to diesel engines, but they always reply, "we working on it"
