I have changed the master and slave hydraulic cylinders and the clutch feels spongy. All the air has been bled out. The clutch will not disengage to allow a shift. What else can be done?

I am willing to bet that you DID NOT get all the air out.

QUESTION: Did you;
1) Pressure bleed?
2)Vacuum bleed?
3)pedal and bleed?

Is it possible to pedal bleed and still not get all the air out. Even if repeating the process a few times? I am having the hardest time bleed a truck that im working on, stream runs clear no air. Bled the s#@t out of it and still will not shift into gear. Clutch is my next suspision.

Bleeding

What year VW? Different years different bleeding sequence. Does it have ABS?:confused: Bleed whole system and exercise ABS via VagCom to bleed it. Update signature to include year, model,ect of car!:rolleyes:
