What is the "free service"? Do you mean that the previous owner didn't change the oil and filters for 36,000 miles? (you wrote 360,000...?) I'm a little confused by your post.
Your brand new car should not be leaking oil, however the fact that there is some oil in the charge air cooler is not unusual. If it's a certified pre-owned car, they've got to fix everything under warranty. Keep your fuel and service receipts and make them fix it right.

IDK about the oil leak but my Jetta was a CPO and I made darn sure to address any potential issues asap which included front wheel bearings and a starter among others. And once I was out of warrantee I located a "guru" and never returned to the dealer as their diesel expertise is very questionable.
