This is on a remapped. Bkd engine va turbo 184hp
Had an ecu fault on open circuit water pump
But having just renewed the cambelt and pump but after close monitoring had no issues in losing water or overheating or any water pump noises noises
So thought it to be a sensor fault
Good Few months later and noticed a drop in power low down turbo only started
To come on full boost around 3500rpm but when it did feels great ,
Then started to notice a small rattle noise between 1200rpm and 2000rpm assuming turbo again , then I had it go into limp mode saying ecu fault see workshop with a flashing glow plug signal
If I stopped turn engine off and on would be fine for a little bit again
Next was the smoke occasionally would notice puffs of smoke low down before the turbo came on boost but white with blue like head gasket and oil mixing
So bit confused all along been thinking turbo but could it be something else
