Adapting new cluster issue

I'm trying to put a euro TDI cluster in my swap project, and I'm running into some issues.

It was a 2003 Wolfsburg 1.8t auto transmission. I'm using the ECU, engine, and transmission from a 2000 ALH Jetta standard. Wiring is all good now, checked and rechecked. ECU from the 2000 is hooked in (IMMO 2, but not sure this matters for the purpose of getting the cluster adapted).

The cluster is a 2003 Euro TDI, so it's IMMO 3 just like the Wolfsburg I'm putting it into.

I got the SKC for both the original gas cluster, and the new/used cluster. With the new/old cluster installed, I go to channel 17 and login using the SKC of the new/used cluster. The immobilizer light does not stop blinking when I do this, not sure if that means something. But after hitting 'do it' I go to adaptation channel 50 and it says that it's not available.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!
Travis

After going to login in instrument 17, it always says ‘login lost due to dropped session’ so the key method first won’t work either as without a login, I can’t access any adaptation channels. Under measuring block 24 I still have all 0’s.

Yes, you are correct.

Nvevermind, I stated that because I once was trying to remove the blinking light, although my engine was starting due to immo off, I had to turn on the immo to be able to adapt ..

Decided to try to just re-install the cluster that came out of the car for the gas 1.8t and that too drops the session after I login to 17 and click 'adaptation'

Here's the scan, some may just need to be cleared (like airbag for instance that I just didn't go into that controller yet since the swap, didn't have any fault before).

It's getting communication issues with central convenience and instrument.

In case anyone else in the future runs into issues like, “login lost due to dropped session” when trying to adapt a cluster, keys, etc. I spoke with Ross Tech and they said to try changing the ‘Blk Int’ under Options to a higher number ~150 to help slow the process down to prevent dropping out (helpful for older laptops).

No luck in my instance, but things were pointing towards the computer as it wasn’t making sense. I borrowed a laptop from my brother and I had it started in about 10 minutes...
