As always, Matt is The Man.

Stopped by our house last night to do a quick check on PaTuDI, thinking she'd be needing a clutch job on his trip through the Bay Area (groan). What we thought was a clutch wearing out was just limp mode from a stuck N75 (from the way folks described limp mode, I thought it was a drastic and scary thing to have happen). Also had an intermittent Relay 109. He had the new style with him, and we found that the B4V was still running on the original 109 from 1996. He also found a chafed wire and fixed it. Everything took a little over an hour, we got to meet Dee, and know what we need to do to get the B4 back to her normal snappy self.

Just more proof that a guru is the only way to go!!:)

Yup.

Hint for B4/A3 owners. If your N75 casing looks crusty, change it. It's probably the original and functioning nowhere near optimally.

When you come in my garage, you get new vacuum tubing and a N75. Then we see if there are further problems. Oftentimes, above cures multiple complaints.
