Hi there, long time lurker with a turbo question...
I'm building up a 1Z based m-tdi to replace an AAZ in my 2wd vanagon. Fuel wise it has a soon to be Giles tuned 11mm pump and pp520 nozzles.
I'm looking for some info on what I can expect when I install a gtb2056v. Any experiences with this or similar turbo would be really appreciated, rpm VS. boost pressure, any lag, how much etc...
The turbo:
I chose this one as its 360* clock-able on both the hot & cold side for a easier install in the van.
To be honest I actually want a small amount of lag (thus the vnt20 instead of a vnt15 or 17) as my actuation method can't limit boost at lower rpm, just max pressure & part throttle boost.
Any real world VNT2056 experience would be really appreciated!
