The car was shut down normally. Next day it would not start. Checked the codes. There are three:
5132 Valve for fuel metering N290
P 0090 00 [167]
Open circuit

5177 Fuel pressure regulator valve N276
P 2294 00 [167]
Open circuit

5179 Fuel pressure regulator valve N276
P 2295 00 [167]
Short to ground

Any ideas where I should start? What is causing this?
Thank you in advance.

How many miles on the car? If you've gotten the stage 1 fix completed this should be covered under the extended emissions warranty- dealership should be the first call to verify coverage.

No. It only happened yesterday. Very strange to. I shut it off on Saturday and on Sunday it would not start. I am leaning towards bad regulator (short to ground). Is there a way test the regulator?

The engine did not fire at all. Completely dead. I tried several times to crank it up on Sunday while checking for codes.
Today I get home after 9 PM. Just for peace of mind I tried one more time before I scheduled towing to local dealership. I fired right up. Like new.
Did not check for any codes tonight. Will do that tomorrow. Will post what I find out.

Next day I cleared existing codes. No new errors poped up. I am using for a week now with no issues. It seems to me that fuel consumption is significantly higher.

So it happened again. Engine lost all power and shut down. I coasted to the exit and tried to crank it up. It started on second try, no check engine light. I took it straight to the dealer. They performed tests on harness and fuel valves and solenoids. Those checked OK. It was determined that high pressure fuel pump is not working at 100% capacity and engine is starving for fuel. Pump was replaced under warranty.
