SOLD 40 years as diesel mechanic just bought a Chevy Bolt EV to try
Selling my 1 owner 2004 VW Jetta TDI Diesel, 5 speed manual, Silver GL Sedan, $3399 Seattle/Tacoma Area 44-50 MPG (pre VW diesel recall)
Majority highway 190,000 miles Fuel economy records since new,
MkIV, 1.9-liter TDI PD BEW diesel engine, 90 h.p., 177ft.lbs torque, A4 chassis

Strong, Reliable, Looks, Runs and Shifts great! No rust in our climate.
AC, Monsoon stereo, Stability control, cruise control, anti-lock brakes, powered heated mirrors, VW rubber floor mats, power windows and locks, anti theft alarm and immoblilizer, 1 remote computer chip lock key, 2 manual keys
All maintenance performed by Owner. Used only approved synthetic 505.01 oil and fluids according to VW specs and schedule, all air/cabin and fluid filters changed regularly - records and receipts on file
Driven gently-still on original brakes and clutch lasted 166,000 miles
September 2016 - 166,000 miles - installed Valeo G60-VR6 flywheel and clutch kit, engine rear main seal, lower control arms, power steering line, front end alignment, power steering fluid flushed and replaced, new headlight buckets – they are still like NEW, car always in garage, paint is bright and shiny.
July 2011- 99,000 miles Timing belt, serpentine belt, water pump, new coolant, transmission oil
Brake fluid replaced every 2-3 years
No mods
