If you live in an area where frost happens, you'll want one of these installed. Our TDIs do not frost up and have hot air blowing from the vents on start up. Well worth the investment!

What is the difference between htr 1 and htr 2. I read for diff years but. Any help would be good. Probably going to have to get 4 or 5 heaters.

Each kit is specific for a particular model, year, and transmission type. HTR1 fits 99.5 to early 2001 (Sept 2000 build date), and HTR2 fits the remainder of the ALH production Golfs/Jettas begining in Oct 2000.
