excessive or normal? (oil cap test)

Hi guys just wondering if you guys think the amount of oil cap play my motor exhibits is normal or excessive for the ALH. Stumbled upon a video of a dude talking about older mercedes diesels and he said the oil cap shouldn't be bouncing around. Car starts up good, some white smoke last little while during cold starts, but other than that everything seems pretty good... fuel economy doesn't seem to be the greatest but it's all city and I think my turbo vanes might be sticking. Dunno what do you guys think?

YouTube is full of videos showing plenty of TDIs with enough blow by to rattle the cap. That alone wouldn't concern me.

Invalid test on TDIs because the vacuum pump discharges into the crankcase.
