Occasional rattle

Recently on occasion when I go over a bump or ride on a rough surface I hear a rattle from the area of the right front wheel that sounds like shaking a tin coffee can half filled with nuts and bolts. One bump=one rattle/shake. Not there all the time, but noticed today can be increased by passengers on that right side of the car. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Turns out it was missing the brake pad retaining spring on the right caliper allowing the outer brake pad to move/rattle. Thanks again for input.
