Alex my uestion remains if you take the interior of a pd160 and put it in a pd140.
There's one for sale now, a rare event.I know of someone who just purchased a GTC1549VZ, P/N 03L 145 721B, fitted into the CR170. I believe this will be the hot turbo for people who want a moderate performance upgrade -- supports max PR=3.4 and 0.18 kg/sec (24 lb/min) -- without sacrificing one-iota of spool-up response from stock, if not even better. Will keep updated.
Tried to buy this turbo but seller refuses to ship to US. This blows. Cheapest price I've found in the US is around $1200. Does anyone have any experience with the Polish site Allegro? There are a lot of turbos for sale on there and the exchange rate is pretty favorable for the dollar at the moment. There's one for sale now, a rare event.

Maybe one of our member friends located within- or near Germany could help. Ruben? The GTC whose purchase I facilitated initially didn't want to ship to N. A., but communicating in German, I was able to cajole him. Send me a PM and I'll see what I can do.Tried to buy this turbo but seller refuses to ship to US.

rumour is also there will be a new R3 CR, 95.5 mm stroke again, and this time with bosch injection, will be very very nice engine to put the gtc1549vz turbo on
Excellent, do you have any more info about this part?04L 253 010 H is the pn for the 184 hp turbo. 1400 euro retail price if someone wants to bite
Did you mean pressure relative of 3.4b ?? !... GTC1549VZ, P/N 03L 145 721B, ... supports max PR=3.4 and 0.18 kg/sec (24 lb/min) --.
What stock application is this turbo used on?I decided to try a gtc1446vz, i guess it can safely go up to 1.88b, would someone have "official" output numbers for this one please?
