We have a big John Deere turbo on 1.9 PD.
We have problems with boost creep.
Boost claims over 3bar when to much fuel.
Does anyone other same problem?

If the EMP stays on reasonable level don't worry about that. I've seen those running 3.5bar. Adding external wg is one option and set it to something like 3bar.

vanes full open? 4bar is OK on that turbo, loves to boost!!!

I like how it fits! haha

We had a turbo blow recently (comp cover pulled off) and wheel made a decent slit in bulkhead so please cover that up for your drivers safety!!!

What failed?

Wild guess without any information, if you're running too much EGT, vanes get warped and sticky, then stick closed.
When vanes are fully open, turbine efficiency sucks. Run more boost, turbine efficiency goes up, EGT goes down, boost creep is encountered after you add even more fuel.

The compressor housing came apart, or it wasn't on there? Overspeed is very easy with no pressure load (if the engine was being run with the cover off). They also design the housings thick enough to withstand wheel failures. The downpipe might not survive a turbine failure though.

Turbo is stock.
Vanes are good.
With reducing fuel er can handle it. But loose 50-60hp

What is with cam timing?
We set it a bit late

I have a few spare CHRA if you want spare, I need 1x compressor housing myself. We only blew them when compressor housing was pulled apart or oil starvation.

Why not increase boost request in maps?

If it is not surging, I can't think of a single other reason not to (well, one that is not an excuse rather than a reason, such as running out of MAP sensor, or blowing off intake piping)

Oil supply issue? Comp housing moving?

If it was too much boost it would explode or whine

That wheel looks to be a billet wheel. Was it in fact a perfect match to the compressor housing??

The turbo looks brand new on the outside yet the wheel looks like its been around a few times... Then again there has been some self clearancing of the housing going on so maybe aluminum dust.. Or is that the indicator the wheel is not original to the turbo and if so back to my original question.

Take a look at the thrust bearing if it doesn't show the same measurable wear indicating the shaft is moving in and out then you definitely have a turbo build issue.

If its a new turbo and it does have the shaft play then have a closer look for anything that might possibly say made in China!
But really if the play is there and its a new turbo you have either experienced a tremendous amount of surge which is obvious and you are lucky the shaft is in one piece or you have a serious oiling problem. May not just be a supply issue but a drain issue as well.

If the boost creep is a concern of shaft speed increasing beyond control then just like Ryan said... it wont ballon and cause that wear .. it would self clearance out of the engine compartment piece by piece lol.
