Underseat Drawer Help Diy Thread

I have looked all over for this. It is supposed to exist, but I cannot find it.

Where is the DIY thread for installing the

Underseat Drawer??? I have the parts, (just unpacked them).

I have looked here and on the Vortex, Anybody have a link??

I will be installing it first thing tomorrow morning, so I will post some DIY.
BTW do you have rivet gun and 12point M10 Allen Key?
Also, make sure you have 2 rivets and 5 bolts - I had only one rivet and 4 bolts and I had to order them from the dealership.

I only had one rivet also. I installed extra bolts instead and worked great.

If you need any help just post up, it's pretty easy actually.

Thank you all!!
I hope to install it this weekend, next week I hope to do the
cupholders (F&R), but I will start with the easy thing first.
Plus I need a trim tool that is enroute from Hillside.

So I guess they can easily be replaced with bolts.

Sears never heard of it,

But autozone had it, a 4 pack that converts 12 point internal
to a 1/2 inch 6 sided sstud that you can use a wrench or socket (1/2 in.)
on. $12.99

Well, I installed the underseat drawer today! Thanks for your help!

One question though....

The drawer has a LOT of drag going in and out.... and it

doesn't want to latch closed. What did I do wrong??

There is a piece of foam glued to the top front edge of the

drawer frame, should I take this off? Or is it anti-rattle foam?

Thanks guys, I really appreciate your help.

FYI, a G19 (yes it is legal here) fits nicely, as will a Scandium Smith.

For what it's worth, my drawer drags, too. I put a little white grease on it and it helped but didn't completely eliminate the tension.
