Has anyone heard of the Bardahl DPF cleaning kit?

So, upon reading through various threads here about DPF cleaning I came across a youtube video of some guys using a pressure washer to clean a DPF :p And, as many of us do, I got lost in the land of youtube until I came across this video, which looks rather interesting, especially considering the fact that it looks like they are using it on a CR TDI VW.

Any thoughts? I've read a general consensus that our DPFs cannot be cleaned with conventional methods like truck DPFs, but this is something I had not previously heard of.

That may help it burn off accumulated soot, but will do nothing for the ash buildup. The dpf acts as a one way trap for soot and ash. The ash builds up and stays there. Without opening it up and reverse flushing it somehow the ash can't get removed. As you notice in the video the last thing they do is initiate a forced regen to burn off accumulated soot. This has no affect on the ash loading other than creating more ash that must be removed by other means. Don't confuse soot loading and ash loading.
