VCDS question

Scanned my 2001 Jetta the other day and wanted to look at some of the adaptation settings. The only adaptation I could get to was idle speed, all other setting returned ???? Has anyone ever run into that?

Maybe they aren't available. I am in Round Rock too. Cat Hollow off 620 behind HEB.

Are you using a real Ross Tech VCDS cable?

It is a generic, running VCDS lite but thinking about it, I am not sure he ever registered it.

If you can't get it to work I have a genuine cable we can look at it with.
