Invisible Trailer Hitch

Hey all! I am researching options for a tow hitch for my 2012 Passat TDI SEL. I saw a post by member nuutron but he seems to have lapsed in participation on this site. I have seen some euro stuff but obviously those are very different cars. If any of you can point me in a direction that would be very much appreciated. Attached (if the thread will accept the link) is the style of hitch Im looking to install (this particular company could offer no guarantee that it fits a US spec car)

UK/Euroland Passat is the B7, we have NMS, completely different platforms, 99% sure that wont work.

best bet is the US manufactures, curt, trawtite, ecohitch for the NA market.

so i stand corrected, it'll work with some modifications. What are you planing to do with your tow bar? Seeing the mounting is heavily modified I'd play it cautious with the rating.

I'd really like to tow a T@G teardrop camper. They weigh 980 dry. Electric brakes will really help to keep within abilities of the car I think.
