Remove the vacuum line from the ECU. Locate the "T" ears on the harness connector. Push toward the vacuum nipple on the ECU until the harness releases.
This may take quite a bit of effort if it hasn't been done in some time. Before reassembly, I spritz a bit of silicone spray on the harness slider to make next time easier.
Here are some other photos to help get a better look. are you taking it out to replace the vac line in side? I also like to disconnect the battery before doing this.
BE CARFUL not to break the nipple for the vacumline. remove the clamp and either give it a twist to free up the vac lines grip on the nipple or u can slice it with a razor. I was replacing my lines so i opted to slice it as to minimize any risk of breaking the outter fitting and inner. That is if you going to remove the ecu entirely.
