Honestly this time around I'm less worried about hp/torque numbers and more concerned with longevity.
I know that the car is getting pushed pretty darn hard out on the track, but I haven't had the best luck with the car as far as little issues that turn into bigger issues. For example...the exhaust leak started off pretty small initially in the fall of 2017, but kept on getting worse and then the same thing pretty much happened again in the spring of 2019 due to Trudell Performance not checking the exhaust manifold that it was straight and true.
Then last fall the car probably got pushed a little harder than it should have, causing us to burn down cylinder 4.
So this build I'm focusing on making the car reliable and lasting as long as possible before anything major has to be done to it. Hence the ceramic coating to the pistons, exhaust manifold, and turbine housing. Plus as you already know, I went with the GT23 turbine wheel to try and help with EGTs. Once it's back up and running I'll have the tune dialed back to help clear things up, so it's not so smoky, well everywhere but idle.
Plus I'd much rather be spending the money on registration, tires, brake pads, brake fluid, diesel additive, diesel for the car, and gas for our van that gets me and the car to the track days. Instead of what I've had to spend it on in the last three years.
Having said all that I will play the what could it potentially make contest. If I had to guess with everything that's been done to the car lately and the wick turned up from it's track day tuning...I would guess 297 AWHP and 410 all wheel torque (lb-ft).
