DieselGeek\'s TB Parts equal in Quality to VW Dealer parts?
Hey all, I realize that I can get parts for a TB replacement a whole lot cheaper from DieselGeek than I can from a VW dealer, but are they of the same quality? Inquiring minds want to know, since Im due for a timing belt change on my 1997 VW Jetta TDI. Also, what do you think of the "mark and replacement" method? Someone offered to change my TB for me at a reasonable price using that method. Is it safe or would I be playing russian roulette? Id prefer Pete down in Hammond IN to change it, but he has not answered my email yet. Maybe he is in too much demand and is too busy changing TBs for ppl
Thanks for any assistance everyone.
