"Upgraded" Aftermarket intakes causing DPF failures?

So I’m resurrecting an old thread apparently. I put on a neuspeed intake. I wasn’t really aware of any of these issues. I always upgraded intakes on all my previous vehicles and I started throwing a codes within a week. The dealer has fixed it this time but said it if happens again to go back to stock ... plan on hitting a pothole soon anyways so certain parts fall off. Should I just deal with it or replace with stock ??

Dont modify your car with gimmicks any more. You literally did nothing but rob HP, not gain it, and put a dent in your finances just to damage your car, all for a little hood bling!

I’m wishing I would’ve come on here a few weeks ago. I’ve always upgraded my intake on every single vehicle I’ve owned. Now that it’s installed I can’t return it. Guess it’s time to find a schmuck like myself on Craigslist or marketplace to buy it Lol

Neuspeed stepped up to the plate and refunded me my money after showing them what was happening. They hadn’t ran into any issues but they hadn’t tested after the recall happened So kudos to them for standing up and behind their products.
