Interested period. It's absurd to specify a % discount, since what I would pay is directly related to what they have . . .

(3) I'm hoping for 30% or more reduction. I have a deposit on a 2015 Passat (black on black) manual SE at my local dealer.

I've contacted three dealers in my area. Two are at MSRP, one has added "Accessories" totaling $1999 over MSRP on the 15 TDI's.

Anyone interested?

My interest is very narrow, and would apply only to the specific car we want:

1. At least 1/3 off sticker.

2. New tires, brake pads, wipers, all fluids & filters.

3. New car warranty.

I am definitely interested. I will be surprised/shocked to see big discounts right at the gun. Discounts won't come unless people don't buy them.

put me down for "LESS than zero " if that's possible....... after this gong show emissions fiasco in Canada , I'll never own another VW ....... already driving a new Ford F150 , while my TDI collects dust in my garage ..... no buyout in sight here in the Great White North ....

I am interested in a new 2015 Passat SEL Premium at around $20k. If not I will wait on a buyback. If those don't work out then keep my 2003 Beetle tdi (160k miles) and 2004 Excursion (350k miles) diesel. They make a great pair!

Dropped off my Passat TDI today at the dealer and spoke to one of the managers regarding the sale of 2015 VW TDI's - the dealerships got the go ahead to sell the fixed vehicles NEXT WEEK. No mention of cost to buy or any details though.

Looking for at least 30% discount on a loaded Manual golf. If not, I'll wait till the 2018 GTIs come out and pick up a leftover 2017 for 8k under msrp. I was curious about the 2018s but only the r gets the new display, and that's too rich for my blood.

I added a poll to the thread for you. Choose carefully as the options are not in the same order as they are in your post.

3. New car warranty.

^^^^ but warranty extended to 4/50K miles.

No interest in another 2.0 TDI. I am very interested when they release the 15 and 16 leftover 3.0 TDI's however. The poll doesn't specify but I'm assuming it is for 2.0's only.

early discount is $5000 of sticker.....laughable. Let them sit for another month and see how eager they are. 30% off sticker minimum at this point.

Anybody touching one of these with only 5k off is a fool. No other way to put it.... 2017-2018 models from other brands offer A LOT more than a 2015 TDI and offer similar discounts. The savings doesn't even come close to justifying only $5,000 off a 3 year old car at this point. Good luck to everyone in their search- be smart out there.

Bought a NEW (not 2.5 years new on lot) Hyundai Tucson in October for 5k off sticker price. I got a 2017 model before the year actually turned over and still ended up with a good incentive. Plus, it doesn't come with the scandal stigma and won't require modifications to the emissions next year. I was interested in a 2015 tdi until I found out VW is being ridiculous.

The dealer that I bought my car from (about 50 miles away) called asking me if I wanted to sell it to them...Guess they knew the fix was done, locally, and it was a not a buyback car, but they seemed genuinely interested, even saying they would pay cash, even if I did not buy another from them. Seemed to make it less of way to get you to buy a "new" car....
But I'm happy...Said take my name off the list.
Now that I think about it...I never tried to talk $$ too see if it was a good deal or not.

Just a heads up.
The too good to be true deals listed on cars.com for the 2015 TDis at Antwerpen VW in Maryland are just that. Sportwagens for $15,000+

Had a go-around with the sales manager who called me when I mentioned attorney general in my response when the prices jumped $10,000. He told me they have no control over the cars.com pricing.

I'm not up to speed here, for sure.

Guessing the dealership is in control of the "info" they do give to the cars.com and all other 3rd partys

IMO Cars.com just runs the "info" and gets a fee for services
