I’m going to start a thread in case others find a themselves with a similar problem. I searched for a bit and couldn’t find anything definitive. I recently finished a 5 speed FHN swap, and when I received the transmission, it had a plug in the speedo sensor port near the driver side axel mounting location. I pulled the plug out, installed the speedo sensor from the dead GMR, and thought all was good. After getting the car started, I have an ABS light on, and my speedo and odometer aren’t working.
I spent an hour searching, and found in this thread a brief discussion about certain cars not using a speedo sensor, but rather an AbS sensor for speed and odometer, but there was no resolution as what to change to make the ECU look the ABS wheel sensor for speed rather than the transmission sensor.

Does anyone know of a thread, or write up that better addresses this issue? I’m going to email Frans right after this, so hopefully I’ll be able to figure something out quickly.
