MK4 lower control arm ball joint adjustment..

Why is it that everyone says there isnt an alignment adjustment for camber on our cars yet the ball joints you can move back and forth in the control arm?

the adjustment is very minimal, almost nothing, it shouldn't move much in those holes once you have the three bolts almost tight

you can get another .25 of a degree from the lower control arm bushing mount bolts, and another .25 degree by shifting the subframe if required.

I've been able to set my cars up with -0.5 to -1 negative camber with no change in hardware. It's varied a bit by vehicle. When I have someone align a MKIV I always ask for as much negative camber as they can get. Really helps turn-in feel.
