2015 Golfs production problems

Ordered our 2015 Golf TDI last Labor Day. Arrived at the dealership yesterday. The Mexican assembly line was halted last winter due to driver's assist package. Should be a collector's car due to very few being made with that option. Already past the deadline for ordering 2015s.

My 2015 Jetta SEL TDI was ordered Oct 3 2014 and received February 4 2015 I was told that Lighting and Safety package and Manual Transmission would be hard to come by

Our 2013 Golf wagon (made in Mexico) has been much, much better than our 2011 Golf hatch (made in Germany).

May or may not be related to assembly location, may be more related to the 2013 being more mature in the model cycle than the 2011.
