Hi Guys
I have a Polo 1.9 TDi with a noisy alternator bearing with small filings being visible while the vehicle is idling.
My question is, Is this alternator repairable seeing that it is charging fine and it seems like it is only the bearing that is seized/noisy?
I was told that I might have to purchase a new one from the agents as they cannot be repaired.
