PD tandem pump vacuum line and oil

So the dealer finally says they found out where the oil leak was coming from and they said that the vacuum line comming off of the tandem pump was leaking. Now I'm curious, aren't vacuum systems suppose to be dry systems?

I'm gonna ask so more questions on monday, but trying to see what others say. I'm not sure how the tandem pump really works other then its a fuel and vacuum pump. (driven off the cam i'm guessing from its location)

Well got the car back today. The service notes say that the tandem pump had an internal leak and the oil was leaking out of a vacuum line which had a tear in it. So I got a brand new tandem pump and vacuum pipe assembly.

70 miles left on warranty...woot!
