Need help finding this part-Glow plug harness

Ok, I've tried searching the part number which is 028-971-766 I've had this harness for I don't know how long and I know that I didn't make up this harness.

I just had to install it last week because mine fell apart while putting in my PP764's.

And I'd like to have another spare but can't find it anywhere.


Everything comes up with this one when you do a part number search


Has anyone else bought or sourced the glow plug harness at the top which includes 30 inches of wire and the (2)-pin connector?

I have never seen a 30 Inch 2 wire harness. ever. the stubby one is designed to fit the MK3 style large round plug connections. most everyone snips off the old 2 wire harness and butt splices the new stubby two wire ends to the old two wire ends.

wish i could get ahold of the longer 2 wire harness myself.

idparts says they. only make the one without the plug now for the early A4's

Is this maybe what you , or someone else did? Not sure who you got the harness from.

The long harnesses became NLA long ago. You'll have to cut and splice.

My car got a new long wire harness in 2002 I think it needs replaced now.

Well, I'm capable of making the harness with connectors and wiring seals but i opened the harness and there was cushioning inside of the plastic wiring jacket which I never used. So I know I didn't make it.

That's probably when I bought it But I just installed the long harness last week. I've had it a long time, that's why I can't remember when I acquired it.
