Hi guys, currently have a 2011 2.0tdi CR140 and looking to upgrade the turbo to make over 200hp. Currently have a map with egr+dpf delete running around 185hp/400nm. I’ve seen an advert for an XMAN GTC1549VZ Hybrid, and wondered if anyone has had any experience with one on the same platform of engine.
If there are better options, please let me know down below!

Engine code: CFHD (Oval port)

I have been looking at dark side developments, gottuned.com and powertdi.pl for inspiration of continuing to build out my current car. At the end of the day you will find a lot of reviews pointing either towards a general positive or negative experience. Buy from a vendor/company that will provide service after the sale, someone that responds to inquiries in a timely manner and someone who stands by their product. Look for reviews on eBay or Amazon if they sell there as well. Reaching 200hp should be quite easy.

Use stock GTC1549VZ from CR170. It can do like 200-220bhp.

I would go for a gtb1756vk or a 2056vk if I was you. The only reason people like the cr170 turbo is because it has little lag and makes decent boost however it's hard on transmission, clutch and flywheel due to the low torque it outputs. A larger turbo will have a lot more top end and will be kinder to your driveline due to smoother torque higher up the revs. Tuned well a larger turbo will feel just as good with lower EGT and much higher top end... than

You can adjust torque curve by tune, no problem with that.
