I’ve got a 2012 Jetta Sedan TDI.
I’m looking to upgrade are my headlights from Halogen to LEDs.

Do I need a canbus adapter or resistors or both?

Anybody know a good LED brand to use also??

Tried LED main beams on my A4 TDI and although they were bright, there was no projection of light down the road...

Stick with Halogen, Phillips Night Breaker is my preferred option.

Great colour and beam projection. £20 for a pair but well worth it.

The usual caveats always apply to lights: switching to something other than halogen bulbs in a reflector designed for halogen bulbs will give you less than desireable results (sometimes horrifically bad) no matter how stellar the actual light source is (advertised to be).

Physics is physics. You can't change that no matter how hard you try. For a different light source, you need a reflector designed for that light source.
