Anyone know of a good turbo blanket that will fit snugly on the GTB1756VK? Preferably not China crap, although alternatives seem to be more and more limited these days.

I didn't find one that fit my 1756 but I didn't look very hard.
I'll probably just wrap it when the time comes.

Never saw the need so only have the lower portion of the inlet pipe wrapped. Did do a good job of engine paint (flat gray) on the turbo housing before install though just to keep the rusty crusties away, let it cure out with running the engine.

Yeah well on a longitudinal BHW, the turbo is right next to the airbox with the cat immediately behind that. And a bunch of wires and stuff live right above the radiating heat. When I was rebuilding the engine, one of the things I noticed was that everything on that side of the engine was very brittle and needed replacing, so I'd really like to cut down on some of that heat if I can.

JetHot coating may work almost as well as a blanket.
At least it looks cool!;)
Already did Swaintech White Lightning coating. I'm trying to overdo it.
