Anyone have any experience with the provent 200 catch can / oil separator? I just installed one on my bmw e30 s50 swap (work in progress).
When the car is running, the catch can buzzes...quite loud. It's really odd. If I pinch one of the lines (cut off flow) the buzzing stops.
i have the inlet coming from valve cover and outlet going to intake manifold...pretty straightforward.
Is this thing broken or is it normal? I am wondering if it is not intended to see this level of vacuum. Online, I don't really see any talk of this unit being used with gas engines... Almost all TDI and diesel applications
