Double Apex Garage Door Openers

I just installed the new double apex garage door openers on my 2015 Golf TDI SEL. Pretty amazed at the quality and functionality. Pretty easy install. A few tricky things but nothing crazy. Took me about an hour start to finish and couldn't be happier. I was able to ditch that stupid garage door remote that goes on the visor.

I dont know anyone from double apex, just was super happy with everything.

I can show it a little more in depth but it really was fairly simple to do. The hardest part was probably learning how to get the light switch module pulled out of the dash. The second hardest part was using the 'T-connectors' to tap into the power wires that control the light switches. The third tricky part was getting the climate control face off the center console, its really easy just gotta pull carefully on it and with some conviction.

This was the unit I bought and installed. It did take a long time to get the product, I think they're built to order so they dont have a ton of stock. I dont mind, I like having mine built just for me. Very impressed with the quality of the buttons and fit.
