Looking into swapping my cr 1.6 tdi engine to the 2.0 cr engine, from what I can gather the engines pretty much the same with the sensors etc, would I get away with keeping the 1.6 ecu and swapping all the 2.0 maps across rail pressure, durations etc, instead of swapping ecu' s then having to deal with immo problems

CAYD is with Continental ECU and CFGB with Bosch. So I don't think it will work.

Swap the ECU! You need to change some wires and then it will work.

You need to find someone with an original AVDI Interface, with that you can adapt the immo without problems.

Do you think it would be a relatively easy swap with the wiring that needs changing don't want to start something and end up having to go back to the original engine

this would be some good info to collect...
how to swap from Continental to Bosch... there are going to be al lot of
people with broken 1.6 injectors !
1500 euros for 4 injectors might also buy the ecu swap...
