Parts car or daily driver
I drove it for 7 years daily, 10000 miles per year mostly short commute on highway. Always had cruise control set at 65 mph.
During the last 4 years I installed new Starter/Alternator/A/C compressor/timing belt/engine bracket / glow plug bridge/glow plugs/2 new head lamps/body has no rust, no dents/silver. 2 front tires newer. Has full size spare.
engine control module/upper chamber of fuel pump has new gasket and is dry. Pump is calibrated.
Engine does not smoke.
Only 1 spot on rear fender paint peeling. Trunk opens manual.
Brakes are due to be serviced.
Needs oil change/could use a transmission mount, but shifts correctly.
Turbo is leaking a long time now and I am done putting money in this car. Still getting 33mpg average , used to be 38 to 40.
Alternator shows 220 K but has only 150~ on it.
This car can be driven anywhere no problem. Interior is not in good shape, I had it redone 7 years ago.
This is a great parts car for an experienced TDI fan, or just cheap transportation for another couple years.
Rebuild Title First 900 will get it.
