Greetings fellow southerners! :)

My wife and I are going to be taking our recently acquired TDi down to the beach for a week this summer, and I figured I would poke around online and make sure I knew where some diesel stations (preferably ones which aren't little hole in the wall joints with who-knows-what in the tanks) were in the outer banks.

Of course it's possible we might not even need to fuel up, given that we just went almost 600 miles on a tank (woot!) but I figured I would ask anyways since some folks in this forum might summer in the OBX frequently.

Any recommendations? Any good web sites to check this at?

Thanks!

__. I'm down near the "inner banks" but if the OB's are anything like, you'd be better off to fill up near Elizabeth City (or another suitable jumpoff spot on the mainland). Fuel and everything else is super expensive on the islands.

I'm headed through your town in August, Gut Wrench. Sister-in-law's wedding is in Oak Island. I'll be headed down 95 then 40. I might take 17 and 13 back for the hell of it. I hope not to have to buy any fuel in NC, as I hear it's higher there.
