Been doing research, and narrowed it down to the following:
I am looking to buy a 2000 to 2003 DIESEL Jetta Wagon, manual transmission with the "ALH" engine.
I am looking for something which does not have a zillion miles or has been modified. Body and interior does not have to be pristine but no rust buckets or cars which were involved in high impact collisions. I don't care about color / color combinations.
I will need this car to be my DD for decent length travels each week so mechanical disasters or those "just needing a head gasket", et cet probably won't work. Need it able to travel long distances at the time of purchase.
My zip is 29229.
Willing to travel as far north as Washington, DC to look at it and South as Jacksonville, Fla., and West as far as Atlanta.
