Well, I’m now at 102K miles on my modified 99.5 Jetta with no problems. I’ve had the wett chip for 62k miles. Other mods are descreening, 2.5 TT exhaust, K&N filter, Bilstein struts, and two pound weight for right foot.
I have noticed however, a gradual onset of a second or so delay from when I punch it and when the car responds. I may need to clean the MAF from reading the other posts.
This engine never ceases to amaze me, especially at highway speeds. It’s a sleeper at highway speeds.
I see there’s a sale on the “other” chip. I may need to ask for upsolution for my modification sins.
