Looking to sell my 2006 MKIV VW Jetta TDI Wagon as I've recently gotten a company vehicle. Car is clean and will come with a safety and e-test. It passed safety in January (have cert) and will simply need an update.
The Good:
- 194,XXX km
- VW Corrosion Protection work completed earlier in 2018 (protection expired July 2018), including the replacement of the rear hatch
- New brakes in November 2018
- New muffler in November 2018
- Timing belt completed at approximately 140,000 km
- Michelin winter tires currently mounted with lots of tread left
- Will include summer tires (dismounted) in good shape as well
- Will also include MKVI Monster Mats in good condition (don't attach to floor mounting system, but fit) from my 2013 Jetta
- Heat and A/C work well
- Seat heaters both work well
- Headlights are clear and un-yellowed
- Includes two working key fobs
- No rips or tears in cloth interior
The Bad:
There are a couple items not in good working condition:
- The rear passenger door lock sometimes sticks open when the vehicle is locked with the key fob, however the alarm still engages
- The center armrest latch is broken
- Missing the lower center grill
There are also rust spots behind the passenger front tire well and in front of the rear drivers side tire on the lower valence that were not addressed during the VW corrosion repair.
The vehicle was serviced from new at Orangeville VW and I have those service records available for email. I can also provide records from the time I purchased it.
